Description:

This two-day, software-agnostic course gives investigators, analysts, and attorneys a foundational understanding of tower dumps and area searches. You’ll learn how the two differ, how to craft legal process (post Chatrie), and how to leverage the resulting data to move an investigation forward. The two-day format goes beyond the basics, with added time to practice analyzing your requests, working through cellular provider records, and turning raw data into actionable leads.

You’ll leave able to recognize when a tower dump or area search is the right tool, construct an efficient and legally sound search warrant for each, and choose the locations and strategies that produce usable results.
