Introduction to Tower Dumps and Area Searches (ITDAS) Level I | Entry Level Description: This 1-day entry-level course provides investigators, analysts, and attorneys with the a foundational understanding of Tower Dumps and Area Searches. Attendees will learn the differences between the two and how to leverage the data in their investigations. Attendees will leave with the ability to construct an efficient and effective search warrant and Tower Dump and Area Search. 2-DAY CELLHAWK BASIC (CB) | CELLHAWK CERTIFIED USER COURSE CellHawk Basic (CB) Level I | Entry Level Description: This 2-day course will provide a comprehensive review of CellHawk and its features. Attendees will learn how to load records from the major telecommunication providers, and how to use those records to further their investigation. The course has plenty of hands-on instruction and practical exercises. CellHawk Certified User (CCU): Successful completion of this course qualifies the attendee to take the CellHawk Certified User (CCU) examination, administered by LeadsOnline. The certification is valid for one year. Attendees do not need their own CellHawk account to participate in the course. Register Here

High-Impact Cellular Records Reporting (HIRR) Level III | Advanced Description: This 1-day advanced level course builds upon the information and concepts covered in the earlier levels, along with the attendee’s experience and casework with historical cellular records. Attendees will learn how to generate an effective report and demonstratives based on their analysis of cellular records. They will also learn about relevant case law, the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, and the Federal Rules of Evidence, pertaining to expert witness reports and testimony. Attendees will learn how to conduct a proper technical review (peer review) and ensure that one is being completed on their report(s). Cellular Technology, Records, and Analysis (CTRA) Level II | Intermediate Recommended Prerequisites: Successful completion of CellHawk Basic (CB) Description: This 3-day intermediate level course was designed to provide the attendee with a basic understanding of how  cellular telephones operate, the records they generate, how to obtain them, and how to leverage them in an investigation. The course mixes lecture content with practical exercises to provide the student with plenty of hands-on time analyzing records. CellHawk Certified User (CCU): Successful completion of this course qualifies the attendee to take the CellHawk Certified User (CCU) examination, administered by LeadsOnline. The certification is valid for one year. Important Information: The course utilizes CellHawk. Attendees do not need to have access to CellHawk to take the course. A basic understanding of CellHawk is recommended prior to taking the course. Cellular and Social Media Records in the Exigent Environment (CSEE) Level I | Entry Level Description: This 2-day course is perfect for dispatchers, crime analysts, investigators, real-time crime center staff, or other personnel working in an exigent environment. Each day, social media records, pings, and cellular records are obtained in emergency situations. These situations might include barricaded or tactical situations, missing persons, child abductions, or mental health emergencies. Often, the requester does not truly understand exactly what they are requesting, what other information is available, and how to best leverage the data received. This course will break down each major cellular provider. Each attendee will learn about free resources and software that is available to assist with their analysis. Advanced Cellular Records Analysis (ACRA) Level III | Advanced Recommended Prerequisites: Successful completion of Cellular Technology, Records, and Analysis (CTRA). Required Prerequisites: Extensive experience with cellular records analysis, cell site lists, and CellHawk. Description: This 3-day advanced level course builds upon the information and concepts covered in CTRA, along with the attendee’s experience and casework with historical cellular records. The course prepares     attendees to explain and present cellular records to a captive audience. Attendees will learn how to generate effective demonstratives and written reports. Attendees will also learn how to organize an effective courtroom presentation, including direct examination, cross examination, attorney preparation, and adversary expert witnesses. Important Information: This course in not an advanced CellHawk course. The course is software agnostic. Attendees must be proficient in their analytical tools as no software support will be provided.
