Description:

Every day, cellular records, pings, and social media data are requested in emergencies — barricaded and tactical situations, missing persons, child abductions, and mental health crises. Too often, the requester doesn’t fully understand what they’re asking for, what else is available, or how to make the most of the data they receive. This two-day course is built for dispatchers, crime analysts, investigators, and real-time crime center staff who work in that exigent environment. Delivered live online and fully software-agnostic (no paid tools), it breaks down each major cellular provider and the free resources available to support analysis, with hands-on practical exercises throughout.

You’ll leave knowing how to request the right data in an emergency — pings, PRTTs, and historical cellular records, plus social media, Apple, Google, and ISP records — and how to develop targets and analyze what comes back, quickly and correctly when it matters most.
