Delivered live online, it pairs guided, instructor-led instruction with hands-on exercises so students gain practical, real-world experience navigating NightHawk from day one — no prior experience with the platform required. Over 14 hours of live training, you’ll move from the fundamentals of the workspace through building cases, organizing subjects, and visualizing data across the timeline and map. You’ll leave able to build and manage a case in NightHawk, import and organize your data, run intersection analysis, collaborate in real time, and produce court-ready exhibits — fully prepared to advance to the next level. You’ll learn how the two differ, how to craft legal process (post Chatrie), and how to leverage the resulting data to move an investigation forward. The two-day format goes beyond the basics, with added time to practice analyzing your requests, working through cellular provider records, and turning raw data into actionable leads. You’ll leave able to recognize when a tower dump or area search is the right tool, construct an efficient and legally sound search warrant for each, and choose the locations and strategies that produce usable results. Attendees will learn how to load records from the major telecommunication providers, and how to use those records to further their investigation. The course has plenty of hands-on instruction and practical exercises. Attendees do not need their own CellHawk account to participate in the course. Register Here

Recommended Prerequisites: Successful completion of CellHawk Basic (CB) Description: This 3-day intermediate level course was designed to provide the attendee with a basic understanding of how  cellular telephones operate, the records they generate, how to obtain them, and how to leverage them in an investigation. The course mixes lecture content with practical exercises to provide the student with plenty of hands-on time analyzing records. CellHawk Certified User (CCU): Successful completion of this course qualifies the attendee to take the CellHawk Certified User (CCU) examination, administered by LeadsOnline. The certification is valid for one year. Important Information: The course utilizes CellHawk. Attendees do not need to have access to CellHawk to take the course. A basic understanding of CellHawk is recommended prior to taking the course. While this course meets the requirements for a CellHawk Certified User (CCU) certification, it is not meant to duplicate the CellHawk Basic (CB) course.
